He services mostly horse paddocks, offering advice in all aspects of hands on pasture management and renovations, with notill seeding as his main focus; he has also worked on seeding several large country lawns.In the last few years we have built a herd of registered Highland cattle. We bought Fiona, our
first pregnant cow, in 1999; we currently have six highland cows plus a few heifers. Our bull calves are pasture-grazed up to two and a half years old, butchered locally and then sold as quality meat.We both share an interest in gardening and have created many
perennial beds throughout our property. For the last two years we have ventured into the selling of perennials, herbs, shrubs and a few annuals.Ian has been a registered beekeeper since 1979 and we have been selling honey from our
beehives since then.
