Gardening

After moving to our small acreage in Eramosa in 1981 we missed the beautiful gardens we had when we lived in Guelph so we started on our five year plan.
We started by planted many trees, installed a small pond and proceeded to make as many gardens as we could.
Perennials became the obvious choice as well as lots of spring bulbs, like daffodils, hyacins, crocus and snowdrops. We have spent many many hours splitting and replanting hostas, lilies, peonies, poppies, foxglove and many other varieties.
Two years ago after I retired we decided to try and market some of our surplus stock.
On Easter weekend 2006 we built a large hoop greenhouse to extend the growing season for us.
Ian has been busy starting seeds and we plan to sell herbs some annuals and hanging baskets along with the perennials and shrubs that we have accumulated.
